Garuda

GARUDA        “One who can lift immensely heavy loads”


I found my self time ago in the from of a huge statue of Garuda, calling my attention from that moment i was totally interest in know what make the people be so motivated for built this 120 meter statue of this Hindu god half human half eagle.
Ride by Lord Vishnu god of protection, preservation and goodness Garuda or Vinayaka (name that also share with Ganesha) goes to a lot of adventures companion his lord but also alone fighting Amrit for save his mother Vinata and him self from the curse of slavering that Aruna did in revenge, helping Vishnu to set free Gajendra the kings of elephants from a crocodile attack, brining the Mandara mountain to the milky ocean and more heroic actions. Vishnu after see the courage humility and determination of Garuda make him immortal and god of all birds in appreciation of this Garuda became Vishnu’s vehicle.



“How marvelous in this creation” says Garuda about a little bird he was waiting for Vishnu.. Always marveling about the splendor of creation about how beautiful is each kind of existence.




Learning more and a little more of this divine god is more and more interesting also he come from a planet known as Kinnaealoka which place has the same kind of inhabitants as Garuda. Knowing also as Suparna (with best wings), Vainetey (son of Maa Vinta), Nagari (enemies of snakes), Nagbhishan (terrible for snakes), Jitantak (can defeat even Kaar or death), Vishari (anti-poisonous), Ajit (invincible), Vishwaroopi (like lord Vishnu himself), Garutmaan (most powerful), Khagshreshtha (best among birds), Tarkshay (one name of Garuda), Kashyapnandan (son of sage) doesn´t mater the divines names that he is call, his different skills or that is a symbol of wisdom for philosophy after know more about him i feel very lucky to have the opportunity of knew him now belong to my gods.
